Millennium Business Communications, one of the premier advertising and marketing communications firm in Albany, New York has received a 2011 NORI Award for its production of the Blu Stone Bistro 15 second television spot entitled “A Shade Cooler” in the category of Television, Cinema Advertising – Movie Trailers. This was the first NORI Award for Millennium.

Since 1972, The Albany Ad Club Association of Professional Communicators has honored outstanding achievement in advertising and communications at the NORI Awards, recognizing members who excel at their craft. “It’s a great honor to be recognized for our work on this production. A lot of time and effort went into planning a campaign that would both meet the clients budget requirements and make a large impact on the local market,” stated Henry J. Nahal, Senior VP of Production for Millennium Business Communications, who produced and edited the spot. “To be recognized by your peers, especially by a prestigious organization such as the Albany Ad Club is truly an honor.” The spot also featured creative direction from Herman Schnurr, photography by Bill Murphy and voice over talent courtesy of Heather White.

The winning spot “A Shade Cooler” was part of an aggressive branding campaign Millennium produced and launched for Blu Stone Bistro during the Fall and Winter of 2010. The campaign entitled “Comfortable, Casual, Cool” captured the overall essence of the Blu Stone Bistro, which features comfortable and casual dining in an electric atmosphere, daily happy hour and drink specials, as well as live music every Friday night. Blu Stone is located next to Hotel Indigo and moments away from Albany International Airport.
